My work explores the concept of transition and transformability in woven fabric. Woven as one piece, complex interactive 3D structures are formed from 2D cloth. The multi-aesthetic textiles incorporate light sensitive (retro-reflective and phosphorescent), and technological yarns. My aim is to extend the boundaries of materials and structures within woven textiles. Strongly inspired by intelligent textiles, I create innovative woven fabrics with malleable qualities and diverse tactile handles.
